Tailor-made

Construction and production at the lübeck headquarters.

In its premises in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, Schaffran designs and manufactures propellers, complete shaft systems and hydraulic variable-pitch propeller systems for yachts, patrol boats, naval vessels, public authority vessels, police boats, offshore specialised vessels, fishing vessels, tugs, coastal motor vessels, ferries, river cruise ships and passenger ships.

Our wealth of experience, outstanding machine equipment and a highly motivated team offer you a clear benefit: no compromises in terms of technology, advice and service.

We attach particular importance to high efficiency with minimum fuel consumption – as well as minimising noise and vibrations. Because if there’s something we really don’t like, it’s friction loss.

The Lübeck team led by Managing Director Mr Lange is looking forward to hearing your questions and wishes!

By the way: in addition to our new production, assembly and spare part service, we also offer specific turning, milling and drilling work.

Trust,

but certify.

Our quality management system (QM) and the associated documentation are certified by Bureau Veritas Certification (BV) according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Each component of your ship propulsion system will be specifically adapted to your requirements. Our individual products are designed according to the regulations of the desired classification society (ABS, BV, DNV, LRS, RINA etc.) and can be delivered with a corresponding acceptance certificate.

Schaffran Propeller + Service GmbH: fully certified since 2001.
