Fixed-pitch propellers from schaffran.
Uncompromising.
Fixed-pitch propellers.
Motor yachts, naval vessels, patrol vessels, public authority vessels, offshore supply vessels, specialised vessels, coastal motor vessels, passenger vessels or research vessels: the propellers are as individual as the ships themselves. They can be designed and manufactured as free-standing propellers or ducted propellers, as single-screw and multi-screw arrangements with 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 blades.
In addition to the exact power-speed ratio, we pay attention to the best possible efficiency with minimum fuel use, in short: cost-effectiveness. We also focus on smooth running by minimising vibrations and avoiding damaging cavitation.
Many customers use our services for planning, monitoring and evaluating model tests, as well as test drives with subsequent evaluation and optimisation of the drive systems. However, SCHAFFRAN Propeller + Service GmbH also offers the calculation and implementation of performance modifications of propellers after re-motorisation or overhaul of the ship propulsion system.
Tip: include Schaffran already in the design stage of your projects! You will benefit from our expertise in selecting the optimal drive concept and defining important parameters such as engine power and gear reduction.
We would be happy to advise you on your project, answer your questions and prepare a quote for you. Feel free to get in touch.
